Women T20 League will start in May 2023. The league will feature five teams, all competing for a chance to be crowned champions of Women T20 League  by the end of the season in September 2023. This league will run parallel to the men’s league and will provide a platform for female cricketers to showcase their skills and gain recognition in the sport.

This league is a significant development for women’s cricket in Austria as it provides an opportunity for female cricketers to showcase their skills and gain recognition in the sport. It is also a step towards promoting gender equality in sports and encouraging more young girls to take up cricket.

The five teams expected to  participating in the league are

Dragons

Cheetah

Kangaroo

Pandas

Eagles

Female cricket clubs can  join different teams. ACA will also allow player transfer for matches.  The league will feature a round-robin format, with each team playing each other twice before the top two teams face off in the final.

The league will also provide an opportunity for the players to improve their skills and gain valuable experience playing against each other and learn from experienced cricketers. The league will be a great platform for the players to showcase their talents and potentially attract interest for their selection for National Team.
