National Leagues

 The Open League:

In 2012, the Open League will be a 50-over competition, which will begin at the start of May. There will be two groups of six playing, with teams in each group playing each other once. The group stages will finish in mid-July, with the top three teams from each group being placed in Division One and the bottom three in Division Two. Within these divisions teams will play against the teams they haven’t already played against, carrying through from the group stages the points that they accrued against the other teams joining them in the division phase.
After all Division matches are complete the top four teams in Division One will move forward to semi-finals, with the winners competing for the Open League title in early September.
The team with the most points in Division 2 will be crowned Division Two champions.

Twenty20:

The Twenty20 competition in 2012 will see nine teams competing in a round-robin competition with the top four teams proceeding to Twenty20 finals day on the 25th of August. Both semi-finals and the final will be played on this day.
